well, there is a lot a designer could do, but they'd only have to redo it again everytime something changed, so the designers get to take a break, and see what the coders are doing "with their future" (hopefully good things)

Transparent theme would rule, hope people like transparent

One problem we found with using transparency (well more so with translucency or semi-transparency) is that browsers do lag on lower end machines on page scrolling. But I think a theme with some transparency might look good.
