Re: Something wrong with panel headers

Personally, i won't support any problems if IE <= 6. There is a reason why they come out with new versions. tell your school to update their browsers, mine uses IE7.

Re: Something wrong with panel headers

IE 5, 5.5 and 6 are relatively speaking, the same, and IE6 is still used a on a lot of public machines.

If this is still happening with the new beta, then I will endeavour to work up a fix for it

LOL, I wish they'd ban Internet Explorer from the face of the Earth.  XD

Re: Something wrong with panel headers

it was fine 5 and 5.5 (both were backward "compatible" with 4) but 6 strained that relationship, 7 cut it entirely and was a complete botch and waste of time, 8 well I dont know, how much worse can it get .. mid your although FF3 is "better" it too has killed some FF2 work, and neither are that stable, especially when you have lots of windows with flash banners in them..

:(

Oh well, maybe its time for ASMbrowser..

Re: Something wrong with panel headers

I don't really like FF3 very much either.  Actually, I have problems with it not wanting to save my tabs even though the option is enabled, so if it crashes, I lose all my tabs.  It happens often and is truly frustrating.  I haven't been able to find a fix, or any support on their website for this particular issue.

But at least, it displays most websites as expected.

Re: Something wrong with panel headers

I checked with browser shots, it looks like IE6 is the only browser out of the 50 it tested that does this

Please do not PM me requesting support or anything, use the forums, thats what they are here for

Re: Something wrong with panel headers

its a table alignment option is it not

remember that IE6 is the default install for XP

edit: there is a place I can go to test IE6 (old)FF2, if that would help, as its usually just a matter or tweaking some elements, but it can take time..

BTW, how do the other themes fair..

Re: Something wrong with panel headers

Its a div, not a table and it appears only to happen in the middle panel area where the content is, and not the side panels

Re: Something wrong with panel headers

and it probably has something to do with the width, and it maybe because IE pre-render (according to some info) and then the content causes that to be modified..

(at a guess)

Re: Something wrong with panel headers

If you look on tom.eocms.com, the titlearrow is at the other side of the header (because I floated it on the right in the css) I will check to see if it renders OK.

Re: Something wrong with panel headers

(when I get access to them) I have IE8, IE6, and Safari 4 on a couple of other machines..

Are there any other issues with IE, with a list I can go through and to a proper test and fix session..
