The signature length calculator is incorrect.  I have about 8 characters left, and it won't let me save it.  Keeps saying too long and its making me rather angry.

If the calculator is set at 250 characters to accept it and update profile. Don't display 300 characters left.

What keeps saying its too long? Does it say that after you submit? I have checked the PHP, it checks to see if it is over 300, so does the characters left javascript...

Also, the calculator only works upon typing in the box, so the 300 when you load the page will change when you being typing in it

Okay. Under Edit Profile -> Miscellaneous Settings. I put my signature in.  I have about 10 characters left.  I type in my password. I press Update.  Above the forum for inputting information, it loads an Error box right above the form.  That contains the text "The Signature is too long"

Sounds like its definately the PHP error. I will take a look later, cant right now, im at school

Nope, and i have told everyone i am not updating any site with the SVN version except eocms.com. Otherwise its too much of a hassle, trying to work out what needs updating etc
