as you send a pm you should be able to save it as a draft so that if you have to go but dont have time to finish the pm then you can continue doing it at a later date or the next time your on eocms

PM's are saved, but only after they are sent

this would be a nice little plugin "drafty" (or draft-pm)

I will look at how this sort of plugin can actually work with the eoCMS, like "patch code" or similar, or maybe just allow "pm" plugins to intercept set points. This goes with that "fake-chat" idea too.

anyway, not atm, and confuser would probably end up doing it (or making it posible for others to do)

I would ask you (James) to push toward developing plugins, as you have a lot of ideas that I know others would use, but eoCMS does not need them by default (this one might be eventually)

Its not c++. That's rarely used in web development.

that said, when you install PHP, it can be set up to run from the command line, so you can make php commands and tools, AND apps (needs other bits for GUI generation, but not for text based)

Well you can do that. Trust me, adding an image to click on is the least of your worries in the long run.

the page you need is Pm.php.

what you need to do is process the page differently if you "tick save draft" and that requires "intercepting" the SendPm.php code..

any work you do on this wil probably be used in the new plugin code, if you get it to work as a plugin

nooo i want to know if i have to change it over coz i am doing it like the normal plugin for this eocms version atm which is able to download but what i want to know is do i have to change it so it will work with the new eocma which isnt out yet or is it fine as it is ?

Why would you develop for old 0.8.1? That's so outdated it's useless.

Because 0.8.2 which we are renaming to 0.9 has many many changes which some people might not like and may not wish to update.
