Well, I have been quite busy lately but the latest project I have started to work on is a paint ball gun turret.  Me and my cousin have made a cardboard prototype of what we want are are going to cut out the wood in a day or two hopefully. We just fininshed 90% of the wood work.  We just have to make the wood circle to mount on.  After that, we will be building the computer in the main box and I will upload more pictures.

Why not build it.  For work and some of my classes I do robotics/artificial intelligence programming.  Now I am applying it to a  paintball turret.  I can use this to shoot moving targets, and if I play paintball with some friends I will have it at my base to deter someone from stealing the flag, etc.

Screw paintball, airsoft is more fun and realistic. You think getting hit by a large wad of paint hurts? Try getting hit by an 8mm pellet at around 200 - 600 FPS (depending on the gun types).

Paintball is fun too, but I notice people who play it often lack in tactical strategy.

While airsoft is fun as well, paint ball can be regulated.  You cant have a airsoft match and easily tell if someone gets hit or not.  Also, many of the people who play paintball competitively have great tactics and many teams are (ex) military.  I have played both for fun, but just dont care enough to get enough people and go to play.

I hated paintball... of all the places on my body where they could have hit me; arms, head, wherever it might be, they always seemed to find the spot that hurts the most.

Well at least I could go all commando and dive around the place without getting hurt, hell I even crawled dows a stream an hide half submerged with only the weapon and eyes above water, IN WINTER...

Wow, you really do go old school. In my opinion there is not much tactical approach to laser tag either. By far, airsoft is more organized and goes by tactics.

Or you could just go to a pub, get drunk and have a fight for real...

It's painful, but less painful than paintballing as at least your opponent respects the 'anywhere but between the legs' rule.

Where I come from they use bottles and other things less prone to "break" (not including heads, fists of legs)

The best paintball I every played, was a Quake 2 Mod

in the states they have helicopter with pb rockets and tanks and jeeps with mg pb weapon..

I bags the beer, and a "good" pub (as opposed to one you have to burn down to feel good about)

then again a bottle of bourbon, a boat, and a few sticks of dm or a shotty are just as good, and you get dinner as a result

I've never been within a hundred miles of a pub in my life... 

The reason why use tactics in air soft is becose if you get hited it
more paintful then paintball so you nee a tactic to don't get shot

Dat place what people drink on. Or sometimes (and by some people) "Shall we go to the pub?" can be said with a small eye movement or under-breath cough.
