What system is the "More ... for less" thing on the front page referring to? I can think of lots of free systems that have a whole lot more than eoCMS, and you can't get any less than free...

Was this really necessary? And are there any CMS' in general that you think are better than eoCMS?

Because eoCMS has only been around for 2 years, and projects like Joomla! have been around for 10 years and have had tens of thousands of contributers. And eoCMS has been rapidly developing and is now an excellent CMS with many features. Also, we haven't even reached version 1.0 yet, so don't compare us too harshly to other CMS'.

Are you serious? PHP Nuke has zero security and isn't even free!

PostNuke was started in 2001, has the same type of security as PHP Nuke (none), and has ceased development since 2007.

e107 has been developed since 2006, but yeah, its a pretty good CMS.

While PHP Nuke technically isn't free, there is absolutely nothing to stop someone from paying for it and then putting it up on their own server for others to download for free. The GPL allows anyone to distribute it (modified or otherwise) for whatever reason.

I have no problem if you do not like eoCMS.  But can you at least give some constructive criticism on what you like and dont like compared to other cms's.  Do not just come and say I dont like your cms, just because it isnt as developed as some of the older more mature cms's.

That is referring to the fact that we are trying to add more features to the CMS using less SQL queries.

Seeing as this flash is only echoing our objectives in creating eoCMS, I can see nothing wrong with it.

However, your observation has been noted and I will change the flash to be clearer about what it is referring to.

Change it back, now it looks stupid.

Yea i agree this new one doesnt look so great. TBH i dont want flash on the homepage, it increases the loading time
