Well, I have written a forum posting bot for eocms.
I am not sure if I will be releasing source code or running it as a service as I plan on porting it to many forum/cms systems.

Anyhow, I have its main objective to be a news posting bot.  For example:
It will get the rss feed for the bbc front page and post the latest topic in a defined board. 
What I am trying to do now is find a few sites that have an rss feed that you would possibly want posted in a site you own.

This will let me test the bot with rss feeds others may use other then just the ones I like and use.

I want to develop this and hopefully have it conversation capable so it can reply to posts as well as start topics. 
I am taking baby steps though so and RSS feeds that might help me are more then welcome.
