Problem: The installer does not work right when trying to check the cache. The directory and config file can be chmoded and turned out alright, but the minute you change the cache over to 777 it gives the following error:

Installer.php is not the new installer it's ajaxinstall.php 

Oh, so that's what you were talking about in MSN. I misunderstood you for a minute.

Same thing, with the cache.

Edit: I note, you also need to chmod the files IN the folder itself. Wish it would do this automatically like SMF through ftp or whatever.
