Re: layout bug

Thank you. It's like that in all of the layouts (I think), and with different browsers (to varying degrees). It's a known bug. Please see under Theme Bugs.

Re: layout bug

there is an issue as to where to change this as it is a fixed value , the solution will come, but it was not a priority as long as it was not squashed (small) ...

Re: layout bug

:)

I think this may also affect other Browsers as well, in which case it may be an idea to set the width dynamically at load time, instead of statically in a file somewhere

Re: layout bug

by the way, I have patched CodePress to do exactly that, and tied it to a onResize call, so it is "truely dynamic" (CodePress creates an editable area in the same way as JQuery does, so I know that it will work)

Re: layout bug

note: in KHTML, the width is non existant, its about the same size as this quick reply box..

Re: layout bug

note: with the new bbcode, this will be fixed, as a textarea can have a style width of 100% (but not height), and that will fix resize issues, we'll see if it also works with MarkItUp.. (as that should pick up textarea style when it creates the editor)

Re: layout bug

I'll operate a similar system to the main bugs board and call this fixed then.
