For some reason (no matter if I check the 'remember me' box or not) I always seem to have been signed out when I turn the computer on again. So I log in and all is well again until I come to visit the top forum page (?act=forum) at which point I get logged out again.

I can usually just log in again and then it all works correctly, but it's still a bit of an annoyance.

Have you cleared the cookies? Have you logged in with another browser or on another computer during the time your computer was off?

Do I really have to clear cookies? And no, it happens whether I log onto another computer or not.

This happens to me all of the time.

I gave up on it though.  I think it is just a quirky browser issue not a cms issue.  It mostly happens in Fx to me not sure about you though.

IE and iPod safari.

No im not telling you to clear them. Im asking if you have cleared them. Also if you log in on your ipod, then it wont log you in automatically on your computer because they are different browsers and vice versa.

But it still happens anyway whether I log in on the iPod or not. Ie I login on the computer... Do something else, come back and I'm no longer logged in.

Check if the cookie exists. If it doesnt then eoCMS is deleting it because your useragent (browser) has changed.

I have found that this only happens to me on the default theme.  The egi theme is fine for me (which makes little to no sense because that has nothing to do with the coding side of things really)

Happens with the energyblue theme for me as well.
