This is my last suggestion for some time, becose tommorow im leaving for a few days to camp
and ther's no pc and ofcourse no net

The idea of this suggestion will be making easier to make icon packs ( that will make easier icon upload)
Soo I was thinking maybe in 0.8.2 in directory images/emoticons
you could make icon directorys like the defoult emoticons will be in defoult directory
but when u make new directory upload emoticons, in the admin panel,emoticons will be shown
that there are new uploaded emoticons pack, and you can chose wich to set.
And when u chose it shows all the emoticons and you can chose what will be for evry emoticon meaning.

Alternative:

Make thah thing whit directorys , but in evry emoticons directory include index.php
which will have the script what will be recognized by the cms ( that script will have the meaning for evry smiley , and some how when u add it the cms will recognize it) , and only thing
you will left to do is just in admin panel (emoticons) push at the new emoticon pack the button "Install"


Maybe something what i wrote is unclear, but i hope you will get the main idea and it would be helpful.  And bay evryone , when will be back hope that SVN for you guys will be runing , and work will be going good

I've mentioned something related to this before, at the moment the emoticons are in the images folder.

the theory is, in the next release, if you ad a emoticon pack, the folder could go in there, or into themes/_Emoticons.

some people will want to add an emoticon to there theme, in which case it will be in that themes images folder, say themes/new_egi/images/emoticons.

the thing abou tthe new -info format, is you can define the places you put stuff, so eoCMS know where to look for them. If they are not defined, thats because you done have them in your theme..

this makes if faster for eoCMS to look for addons, like emoticons, bbcode icons, admin icons, theme images, etc.. , and plugins can also contain their own addon parts like emoticon as well..

its may sound "confusing" to have a whole lot of places where things are store, but its for ease of adding and distributing them. most of the default eoCMS "addons" will be by them selves, extra grafix stuff will end up in the themes folder somewhere (according to what i is, or what it is part of)

if the eoChat plugin also allows emoticons, then there is a extra need to deine an extended set of "standard" emoticons..

The admin section for this needs a slight modification, plus some aditions.. just more stuff that needs to be done
