yes to the space, but not when the <img> tag is inserted, its has to be in the code replacement check function, needs to check "_8 )" not "8 )" (_=space).

note: you will know when its fixed because there will be no smileys in the initial post

Im sorry but I dont really see the point with making smilies only be parsed with a space before them...

look at the top post, see the smiles, they are NOT supposed to be there.

do a quick edit on the post to see what I mean

if there is only smiley on a line, its a smiley, if there is NO SPACE BEFORE the smiley, its not a smiley, its text, or content
