editing posts

after a post has been edited does it show it as a new post in the picture of the folder thing or does it just show it as a empty folder but on the right of it say that it has been edited because i would think it is more helpful to people if it showed it as the foler had something in so they know when there has been a post made or even a edit of the previous post made by that person

I think this has been covered somewhere else, and yes it would be useful.

Re: editing posts

Problem is there might be new edits and new posts. It would be easier to show a little icon next to the topics when there's been an edit rather than on the forum board.

Re: editing posts

what like it does on bebo or facebook or myspace with a little one next to the mail actuly that would be good for the mail but have a pop up when you have a message after you have logged on then you wouldnt have to refresh the page to see that you have a message in the inbox

Re: editing posts

btw, the popup should be an user option setting (and or admin site setting)

I have an idea for and "board options" slidedown on the layouts page (so you are not presented with too much info the first time you see the page) that contains a hole lot of site related tweaks
