In database tables you can see data type set like that:
int(255) Impossible!

Next you can really feel the inconsistency in data types. For example why you put in subject column in table articles data type text when you can use varchar(255) without problems? Next example: table emoticons column image: is text, should be varchar(255) and many more. When site gets bigger database will burp

I agree, I thought most of these had been fixed before though.  I will take a look into re-optimizing the database for both speed and scalability in the near future as many of the fields seem to be improper.
