Blue energy looks terible in IEx

The glossy blue theme looks truly awful in IEx (check out the forum in it...)

Re: Blue energy looks terible in IEx

Things are misaligned, widths are all messed up, a lot of CSS background stuff is missing...

Re: Blue energy looks terible in IEx

Well what's wrong with the energyblue theme is wrong with the default, as there is very few layout changes and all the images are the same size.

Re: Blue energy looks terible in IEx

the theme "code" is gonna change just now, at least so there is a separation of layout and css, so it will be "fixed" then, and I've go quite a few different browsers to do testing, I have yet to get IE7, as all the machines I have acces to either have IE6 or IE8

(BTW - I refer soley to the SVN)

Re: Blue energy looks terible in IEx

IE8 has a mode which (as near as makes no difference) emulate IE7 on compatibility mode. The fact that the themes system and the way themes are coded is the reason I haven't done anything about this yet.

Re: Blue energy looks terible in IEx

not long now..

I have just install IE5, 5.5, 6, 7 on my linux OS, and have IE 8 on XP & Win7.

When the -info functions are done, the current theme changes should also be done, and I would expect a "session" of theme tweaking, but the final layout should be simple enough for it to be "a breeze" (we'll see)

If anyone has an installion of SVN pre-"the changes confuser made to themes", I would appreciate a copy of the (entire) themes folder, the closer to the code change date, the better.

I hope to get the "old" themes working again in code, with the new theme code, and throw in the new -info format. This will just give people a choice as to how they "design"  themes and layouts, and will get the "thems issues" out of the way quicker.

The new -info format is litterally "limitless" in its implementation, meaning you will be able to "code" themes in various ways, depending on your dev, non-dev or eoCMS, non-eoCMS expertise.

Hopefully that will please everyone Smile

Re: Blue energy looks terible in IEx

It just reverts the files on your computer to a previous revision, you can then revert it back to the latest version in the SVN
