It's been a while since our last release, but 3rd October 2009 is the day we release 0.9.0 for the first time. This version features improved speed, modularity, a much improved caching system, a revamp of the default theme, as well as an improved plugin system for better 'moddability'.

Not to mention, the code has been generally cleaned up wherever possible.

The new default theme was achieved by a rewrite of the theme system, allowing for greater flexibility in the creation of new themes. Interface layouts, too, have been vastly improved since the last version.
